  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Grease 9" cake or springform pan, then line the bottom with parchment paper
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and Pasolivo Lemon Sea Salt
  4. In a stand mixer, with a paddle attachment, combine Pasolivo California Extra Virgin Olive Oil , sugar, vanilla extract and Pasolivo Orange Blossom Honey . Mix until well combined, scraping the bowl occasionally
  5. Add eggs and mix until fully incorporated
  6. Add half of the flour mixture and half of the buttermilk. Mix until just blended. Repeat with the remaining flour mixture and buttermilk
  7. Drizzle blackberries with Pasolivo Blackberry Balsamic , then fold into cake batter
  8. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake 45 minutes. When done, a wooden skewer inserted into the middle should have a few moist crumbs attached to it
  9. Make the glaze in a small saucepan by whisking the Pasolivo Orange Blossom Honey , brown sugar, and Pasolivo California Extra Virgin Olive Oil over medium-low heat until the sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
  10. Remove the cake from the over and poke holes in the top with a skewer. Pour on half of the glaze. Spread the almonds evenly on top, then pour on the remaining half of the glaze.
  11. Whip the heavy cream with Pasolivo Orange Blossom Honey until soft peaks form. Serve whipped cream as desired
