Cinnamon Biscuits with a drizzle of Orange Blossom Honey is a great side dish for a family brunch. OR make it a meal as a sausage and egg biscuit sandwich for sweet and savory flavors.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Pasolivo Cucina Olive Oil
- 1/2 cup Pasolivo Orange Blossom Honey
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons Pasolivo Sugar & Spice Blend
- 3/4 teaspoon Pasolivo Kosher Flake Sea Salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons milk
- 1/4 teaspoon Pasolivo Sugar & Spice Blend
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk wet ingredients well.
- In a large bowl, whisk dry ingredients.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, and mix until just incorporated.
- Drop by spoonful onto baking sheet and bake for 14-17 minutes, until lightly brown and cooked through.
- Move to cooling rack so the bottoms don't get soggy. Frost, then serve immediately.
