The ultimate comfort food that the whole family will love.
Ingredients
- 1 jar of Pasolivo Artichoke and Olive Marinara Sauce, using Pasolivo Rosemary Olive Oil instead of Cucina
- 1/2 pound sweet or hot ground sausage (if links, remove from casing) or ground beef, cooked and crumbled
- 2-3 ounces sliced pepperoni or salami, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon Pasolivo Roasted Garlic Sea Salt
- 2 1/2 cups shredded mozarella cheese
- 1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese, plus more for topping
- 12 ounces pasta, use farfalle or penne
- 3-4 tablespoons pasta water (add with pasta to sauce)
Preparation
- Prepare Pasolivo Marinara Sauce.
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Lightly oil 9x13 baking pan.
- Cook ground sausage/beef in large pan. Then drain off fat.
- Stir in one recipe Pasolivo Marinara Sauce, pepperoni, red bell pepper, and Pasolivo Garlic Salt.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions.
- Mix pasta, 3-4 tablespoons pasta water, and Pasolivo Marinara Sauce mixture, then stir in cheeses.
- Pour into 9x13 pan and bake until cheese is melty, about 18-22 minutes.
- Add more garlic salt if desired.
- Serve immediately with additional parmesan and a drizzle of Pasolivo Rosemary Olive Oil. You can add any vegetables that you would on pizza.
