Ingredients
• 1 lb ground turkey
• 1 lb ground seasoned sausage, like Jimmy Dean
• 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
• 3/4 cup peeled and grated apple
• 1/2 cup frozen or fresh wild blueberries
• 2 Tbsp Pasolivo Bourbon Barrel-Aged Maple Syrup, plus more for serving
• 3/4-1 tsp Pasolivo Kosher Flake Sea Salt
• 1 Tbsp + 1 tsp Pasolivo Spring Blend
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with sides with tin foil. Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix well with a large spoon or with your hands. Using a spoon or small ice cream scoop, make meatballs about the size of a golf ball and place onto a prepared pan. Bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until cooked through. Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup.
