Italian Bread Pizza Loaf

Cooking Label
Prep Time
10 Minutes
Serves Approx. 6
• 2/3 cup Pasolivo Tuscan Olive Oil or Pasolivo Garlic Olive Oil
• 1 Italian bread loaf
• 2 Tbsp Pasolivo Spicy Italian Blend
•1/2 tsp Pasolivo Roasted Garlic Sea Salt
• 2 oz pepperoni or salami, chopped
• 1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
• Large sheet of tin foil - enough to completely wrap the loaf for baking. (You may have to fold the edges of 2 sheets together to make it large enough)
• Optional: Pasolivo Artichoke and Olive Marinara Sauce for dipping
Preheat oven to 375°. Place foil on baking pan. Oil the foil to prevent to prevent cheeses from sticking, then place bread on top. Cut the loaf diagonally, going deep into the loaf, but do not cut all the way through. Make these cuts about 1" wide. Then cut in the opposite direction diagonally. In a small bowl, mix Pasolivo Tuscan Olive Oil, Pasolivo Italian Seasoning, and Pasolivo Roasted Garlic Sea Salt. Using a pastry brush, brush the olive oil mixture into the cuts of bread. Using your hands, stuff the pepperoni and cheese down into the bread. This will open the loaf up more. Close the tin foil, sealing it. If possible, make space so that the tin foil is not directly on the cheese. Bake for 15 minutes. Open foil and fold it back. Then bake an additional 10 minutes, until browned and melted. Remove from foil and slice to serve.
*Optional: dip into Pasolivo Marinara Sauce.

Perfect as an appetizer, delicious as a snack, and ideal for a quick dinner!  All the goodness of homemade pizza, created in an even more delicious way.
