These crispy baked crab cakes use Pasolivo Original Nut Crumbs instead of traditional breadcrumbs for a flavorful, gluten-free twist. Packed with lump crab meat and classic seasonings, they're finished with a simple spicy mayo drizzle.

Ingredients

Crab Cakes:

Spicy Mayo Drizzle:

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp hot sauce

Optional Garnish:

  • Lemon slices

Preparations

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together egg, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, parsley, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and Pasolivo Kosher Flake Sea Salt.
  3. Add lump crab meat and Pasolivo Original Nut Crumbs.
  4. Gently fold the mixture together with a spatula until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the crab meat intact.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  6. Divide the mixture into approximately ½-cup portions and form into patties.
  7. Place the crab cakes on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Brush or drizzle with melted butter and add lemon slices if desired.
  9. Bake for 12–14 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
  10. While the crab cakes bake, whisk together mayonnaise and hot sauce in a small bowl.
  11. Serve warm with the spicy mayo drizzle.
