This easy salmon recipe is great for weeknights especially since the breadcrumbs can be made in advance. The breadcrumbs create a delicious crunchy crust, maintaining the moisture of the filet.
Mix together Kosher Flake Sea Salt and Dolce Garlic Mustard. Massage mixture onto each salmon filet. Let marinade in the fridge for 20 minutes if possible.
In a medium bowl, mix together softened butter and Italian Nut Crumbs.
Spread a thin layer of the breadcrumb and butter mixture evenly onto the top of each filet, about ¼ in thick.
Place filets on a foil lined baking sheet. Broil on the top rack of the oven until the breadcrumbs have toasted and salmon turns opaque“ 6 to 8 minutes. If breadcrumbs brown before the salmon has a chance to cook through, cover with foil and drop the temperature to 450 for another minute or so, until the salmon is flaky but still tender.
