Stuffed Shell Casserole

This hearty, flavor-packed pasta bake is a comforting dish that’s perfect for cozy family dinners, potlucks, or casual gatherings with friends. With layers of spicy sausage, creamy cheeses, fresh spinach, and a rich marinara, it’s a crowd-pleaser that’s both satisfying and easy to make.

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook jumbo shells according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.
  3. Lightly oil a 9x13-inch baking dish and set aside.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and drain excess grease if needed.
  5. In the same skillet, add Pasolivo Habanero Olive Oil and sauté the chopped onion until soft and translucent.
  6. Transfer onions to a large mixing bowl. Add spinach, egg, ricotta, Pasolivo Spring Blend, mozzarella, and parmesan. Mix well.
  7. Stir in most of the cooked sausage, reserving a small amount for topping.
  8. Spread a thin layer of Pasolivo Artichoke & Olive Marinara over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  9. Stuff each shell generously with the ricotta mixture and arrange in the baking dish.
  10. Spoon remaining marinara and sauge over and around the shells.
  11. Finish with a light sprinkle of additional mozzarella and parmesan.
  12. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  13. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes, until bubbly and heated through.
