Golden puff pastry wrapped around layers of cheese, ham, and our jam makes these hand pies irresistibly delicious. Sweet, savory, and simple to bake, they’re ideal for gatherings or elevated snacking.
Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk the egg yolk until smooth and set aside for egg wash.
Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out puff pastry sheets. Cut each sheet along the fold lines to create 6 rectangles total.
On half of each rectangle, layer 1 tbsp Pasolivo Hot Pepper Berry Bacon Jam, 2 tbsp shredded Pepper Jack cheese, and 2 slices of ham, keeping the filling centered and leaving a ½ - 1 inch border. Pack tightly to ensure the edges can seal.
Brush the exposed border with egg wash, then fold the empty side over the filling to enclose.
Press edges together and crimp with a fork.
Place pies on the prepared baking sheet, spacing slightly apart. Brush tops with egg wash and cut three small slits in each. Sprinkle with Lemon Pepper Blend and Himalayan Pink Sea Salt.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
